Up-coming CPD

Continued professional development at our Gloucestershire clinic. Set in a 400 year old cattle barn with peaceful surroundings, we provide a welcoming environment where we hope to encourage personal growth in our fellow practitioners. High quality reading materials, up-to-date equipment, with refreshments provided for a valuable small group learning experience.

Free on-site carpark; kitchen and toilet facilities.

Graduate Confidence Day

A delegate-led day designed to improve confidence in the new practitioner or those returning to work after a career break. A small group teaching experience (minimum 5, maximum 10 delegates) to cover topics such as:

Functional Anatomy
Static and dynamic assessments
Report writing
Understanding referral reports
Imaging review
EPA review, use, dose calculations etc.
Special orthopaedic and neurological tests
Pain relief medications
Case studies (delegate-led)

Cost per delegate £85.00 (includes optional access to a dedicated delegate WhatsApp support and advice group for 2 calendar months after the day).

6-7 hours of CPD

10am onwards (expected to finish around 5pm)

Refreshments provided, please bring your own lunch and any special dietary requirements.

Sport specific warm-up interactive workshop!

4-6 different breed/types of dog and their owners will be led through a do-try-this-at-home sport-fitness assessment followed by specific warm-up recommendations for each dog. There will be an opportunity to be in the audience for this Saturday day-time fun and interactive workshop!

This workshop is aimed at the pet owner who competes at local level: agility, hoopers, man-trailing, scenting, cannicross.

Evening Clinical Club

The first of our Clinical Club CPD evenings! With the vision of creating a local network of manual practitioners to support one another in our work and to share case studies, have a drink and some nibbles and hopefully a laugh!

The Clinic welcomes fellow practitioners and students for shared learning and shadowing experience.

Monday - Thursday land-based treatments

Friday - Rehab-specific hydrotherapy in UWTM.

There is no charge for these mutual learning opportunity days.
